Almaya is a leading non-profit association which empowers and develops local leadership within the community.  Through its work, Almaya strives to integrate community members into Israel and get them involved in Israeli society.  The activities of Almaya respond to and fulfill the needs of all age groups while stressing the values, heritage, and traditions of the Ethiopian Jewish community.  Almaya's programs encourage excellence in the community in the areas of education, culture, arts, and sport.
